Terms of use

These terms apply when you use equio, the website and interface at this address (the “interface”). By using it, you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the interface.

The short version

  • equio is an interface, not a bank, broker or adviser. It never holds your funds.
  • Everything on equio is information. Backtests are historical simulations, not promises.
  • You control your wallet and you're responsible for your transactions, keys and taxes.
  • Stock Tokens may not be allowed where you live. Checking that is up to you.

1.What equio is

equio is a non-custodial interface. It reads public data from Robinhood Chain and from Uniswap v3 and v4 pools that pair Stock Tokens with USDG, and shows pools, strategies, historical simulations (“backtests”) and the positions held by any address you choose to view.

equio is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Uniswap Labs or Robinhood. Robinhood Chain, the Uniswap protocol and Stock Tokens are run by third parties under their own terms.

Today the interface is read-only. Features to deposit, swap or automate positions are coming soon. When they launch, these terms will be updated, and some features may come with extra terms shown before you use them.

2.No custody

equio never holds, controls or has access to your funds or private keys. When you connect a wallet, the interface only learns your public address. Any transaction is created in your wallet, and only you can approve it.

Positions you open are Uniswap positions recorded on Robinhood Chain and held by your own wallet. They stay yours even if equio is unavailable, and you can manage them with any compatible interface, including the Uniswap app.

Because equio has no access to your wallet, it cannot recover lost keys, reverse transactions or freeze assets.

3.No advice

Nothing on equio is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset or to use any strategy. Labels such as “best historical” describe what a simulation found in the past, not what you should do.

Backtests replay past on-chain trades with a hypothetical position, and they have limits, explained on How it works and in the Risk disclosure. Past results don't predict future results. Your decisions are your own; consider independent advice.

4.Who can use equio

You must be old enough to enter into a binding agreement where you live, and able to use the interface lawfully.

Stock Tokens and on-chain markets are restricted or prohibited in some countries, and Stock Token issuers apply their own eligibility rules. You are responsible for making sure that using Stock Tokens and this interface is legal where you live. Don't use the interface if it isn't, and don't use a VPN or other tools to get around restrictions.

You may not use the interface if you are the subject of sanctions, or on behalf of anyone who is.

5.Your responsibilities

When you use equio, you are responsible for:

  • Keeping your wallet, seed phrase and devices secure.
  • Checking every transaction in your wallet before you approve it: the network, tokens, amounts and addresses.
  • Understanding the risks of the assets and strategies you choose (see the Risk disclosure).
  • Any taxes and reporting that apply to your activity.
  • Using the interface lawfully: no attempts to disrupt or overload it, and no use for fraud, market manipulation or money laundering.

6.Fees

Using the interface today is free. When execution features launch, equio plans to charge an interface fee on swaps it routes (currently planned at 0.15% of the amount swapped) and a fee on some automations. Every equio fee will be shown before you confirm a transaction, and you can always decline.

Separately, pools charge their own trading fees, which go to liquidity providers and not to equio, and the network charges gas. equio doesn't control either.

7.Third-party services

The interface relies on services it doesn't control: Robinhood Chain and its RPC endpoints, the Uniswap protocol's smart contracts, Stock Token and USDG issuers, wallet software, block explorers and data providers. Their availability, rules and fees are their own. Links to other sites are provided for convenience; equio isn't responsible for their content.

8.Availability and accuracy

The interface is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, suspend or stop any part of it at any time, including the pools, tokens and features it shows.

Data on equio comes from public blockchains and third parties and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. We don't guarantee that the interface or its data will be uninterrupted, accurate or error-free.

9.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, equio and the people who build it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, tokens or data, arising from your use of the interface, from smart contracts, networks or Stock Token issuers, or from any third-party service, even if told such losses were possible.

Where the law doesn't allow some of these limits, they apply only as far as the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under laws that can't be waived.

10.Name and brand

The equio name, logo and interface design belong to equio. Please don't use them in a way that suggests a connection with equio that doesn't exist. On-chain data is public.

11.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and significant changes will be pointed out in the interface. Using the interface after an update means you accept the new terms.
