Risk disclosure
Stock Tokens and liquidity positions are risky. You can lose part or all of what you put in. Please read this before using equio, and only use money you can afford to lose.
The short version
- Backtests are simulations of the past, not predictions.
- A pool position can end up worth less than simply holding the tokens.
- Pools can trade far from the real stock price while markets are closed.
- Stock Token issuers can pause tokens or block addresses.
- Smart contracts, networks and wallets can fail.
1.Not investment advice
equio shows information and tools. It doesn't tell you what to buy or sell, and nothing on it is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Decisions are yours.
2.Simulations aren't future results
The results on equio (“What worked here”, strategy tables, the numbers on the home card and the recurring buy and sell simulations) are historical simulations. They replay real past on-chain trades with a hypothetical position, usually $10,000, and estimated costs. Nobody actually earned them, and they don't predict what will happen.
- Most pools have weeks to a few months of history: one price path, in one market regime.
- Simulations assume the position doesn't change the pool's price or how other traders behave.
- Costs (pool fees on re-entry, slippage, gas) are estimates.
- Data cleaning removes trades judged to be errors; a different method could give different numbers.
- Rankings such as “best historical” can change as new data arrives.
More on the method in How it works.
3.Price effect (impermanent loss)
A liquidity position automatically sells the token that's rising and buys the one that's falling. Compared with simply holding the tokens you put in, this usually leaves you worse off when the price moves a lot. That difference is the price effect, also called impermanent loss. Fees earned may not make up for it, and the narrower the range, the stronger the effect.
4.Out-of-range positions earn nothing
A concentrated position only earns fees while the pool price is inside its range. Out of range, it sits entirely in one token (all USDG or all stock) and earns no fees until the price comes back or the range is moved. Moving it (rebalancing) costs fees and gas and locks in the price effect.
5.Liquidity and slippage
Many Stock Token pools are small. Larger trades can move the price a lot (slippage), and you may not be able to enter or exit at the price you see. Prices and values shown can be out of date.
6.Weekends, holidays and after-hours
Stock Tokens trade 24/7, but stock markets don't. While markets are closed, a pool's price can drift far from the stock's real value, and the price oracles used across the ecosystem freeze from Friday 8pm to Sunday 8pm ET. In August 2026, one Stock Token pool traded at about four times the real price for more than a day.
Positions, and the values equio shows (which use current pool prices), can be badly affected. Protections that step out of the pool reduce this risk but don't remove it.
7.Stock Token issuer controls
Stock Tokens are issued and controlled by a third party, not by equio. The issuer can pause transfers, block specific addresses, upgrade the token's contract and burn tokens. If that happens, transfers, swaps or withdrawals involving the token may fail, and a position may get stuck or lose value.
Stock Tokens don't necessarily give you the rights of a shareholder, such as voting. Read the issuer's terms.
8.Stablecoin risk
USDG, the other side of every pool equio shows, is a stablecoin issued by a third party. It could lose its dollar peg, be paused, or have addresses blocked.
9.Smart contract risk
Positions live in the Uniswap protocol's smart contracts. They are widely used and audited, but audits don't guarantee the absence of bugs. equio's own automation contracts are not live yet; when they launch, any feature that hasn't been independently audited will be clearly labeled as unaudited. A bug or exploit in any contract involved can mean a total loss.
10.Network, RPC and data outages
Robinhood Chain, its RPC endpoints and other data sources can be slow, congested, down or wrong. During an outage you may not be able to see or manage positions, and automation, once available, may not run on time.
11.Wallets and keys
Your wallet is third-party software. If you lose your seed phrase, approve a malicious transaction or your device is compromised, your funds can be lost for good. Nobody, including equio, can reverse an on-chain transaction.
12.Regulation and eligibility
Rules for tokenized assets are changing fast and differ from country to country. Stock Tokens may not be available, or may stop being available, where you live, and new rules could limit what equio can offer. You are responsible for making sure that using Stock Tokens and this interface is legal where you live.
